Would suit couple or singles travelling together. (We have previously hosted backpackers and even a couple at the beginning and end of their travels in Australia.) Accommodation is downstairs in large double storey house on acreage. Your own very large, private bedroom/lounge studio unit (size of double garage) with your own shower, plus additional kitchenette and toilet at Walloon, 10kms out of Ipswich. 1km walk to train station, 1.2km walk to IGA, chemist, medical centre, takeaway shop, bakery and Walloon Saloon. 35 mins Gatton where backpackers pick fruit. 55 minutes Brisbane CBD. 1hr Movie World, Gold Coast.
I am a sales rep and sometimes have to travel interstate. I work long hours, show and judge dogs. My 19 year old daughter also lives upstairs and work casual. Assistance required involves cleaning kennels, grooming, training and exercising dogs so big dog experience is a must. Assistance with mowing, gardening and general maintenance. Flexibility is the key, trust, commonsense, honesty and the ability to work unsupervised using your initiative. Intermediate English essential.
