JOB DESCRIPTION

Long term stable employment available for a skilled production operator with a Global company in Oxley - ASAP start on afternoon shift! We are currently seeking an experienced production worker with power tool exposure for an afternoon shift position in Oxley. This role will be starting ASAP and working for a Global company. The position is ongoing casual with a view to permanency after 4 months pending performance and attendance. About the Role Key duties for this role include but are not limited to:

  • Fixing and assembling timber pallets
  • Use of nail gun and small tools
  • Use of band saw
  • Repetitive production work
  • Manual handling of timber pallets
  • Afternoon shift (1.45pm - 10pm Mon - Thu and 12.30pm - 6pm Fri)
** Please note that this position requires a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test plus a basic literacy assessment. As this role is 38 hours per week, all applicants must also have full working rights in Australia** About You To be successful for this position, you MUST have:
  • Own reliable transport & licence
  • Be fit to pass the pre-employment medical and D&A test
  • Experience with power tools or assembly/ production tasks
  • Prior fast paced experience (preferably factory environment)
  • A positive attitude and team player outlook
  • Be reliable, punctual and have good attendance
