The opportunity

We are looking for a motivated individ-ual to join the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services team to support the ongoing operation and regulatory compliance of Boeing Defence Australia's (BDA's) Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR) Part 145 Maintenance Organisation approval to facilitate future growth within MRO Services capability.

The BDA DASR Part 145 approved maintenance organisation supports the continuing airworthiness maintenance of the Boeing F/A-18A/B Classic Hornet, F/A-18F Super Hornet and F/A-18G Growler, Boeing E-7A Wedgetail, Boeing C-17 Globemaster III, Bell 206 Kiowa, Sikorsky S70 Blackhawk and the Airbus EC135 platforms across Australia at RAAF Base Amberley and Williamtown, Swartz Barrack in Oakey and the HMAS Albatross in Nowra.

We are seeking candidates with the following skills:

• Sound knowledge of DASR Part 145 regulations or civilian equivalent (EASA / CASA Part 145)
• Experience working within a DASR Part 145 organisation or civilian equivalent (EASA / CASA Part 145)
• Sound knowledge of the ADF Maintenance Management Systems is highly desirable
• Proven experience in process documentation development and improvement
• Strong analysis and problem solving skills
• High level of written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build relationships and influence decision-making by senior leaders
• Needs to be a motivated, self-starter capable of managing tasks to closure
